With over 30 years of commercial experience Neale has seen a thing or two and would now like to utilise that experience to assist people reach their goals. Neale’s vision is to use this wealth of experience to enable businesses to improve their financial capabilities and drive success. His personalised approach provides flexibility to suit your needs and collaboration to ensure ongoing feedback.

Neale has worked with a lot of great people over his time and the successful ones don’t always know everything (they don’t have too), they surround themselves with a network of experts that can help. Someone to ensure they have articulated their strategy, developed that plan, logged action items and nominated responsibilities.  Someone to ensure there is a clear understanding of the drivers of business success with a robust reporting and review process in place to hold you accountable and to challenge current paradigms.

Having performed that network role many times over within larger organisations, Neale is now looking to provide that same help for Small to Medium sized businesses. You get the expertise without the full-time price tag.

 

Bio

After graduating from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Business Degree, Neale worked in Sydney in the Chartered Accounting industry for over 5 years, during which Neale completed my Professional qualifications and became a Chartered Accountant. With these new-found skills, Neale ventured to Europe to explore the world. Three years later Neale had worked for a London based investment bank raising over £300m in taxed based investments, working closely with the 2 directors, starting the journey as a trusted advisor.

Returning back to Australia to thaw out, Neale then worked in financial services for the next 10 years. Sometimes as an employee, others as a Consultant extending the work of that trusted financial advisor covering financial reporting, analysis, project management, M&A and financial controller roles.  

In 2006, Neale moved his young family to Newcastle to be closer to family, a more relaxed lifestyle and the chance to play some golf. Neale undertook various commercial roles at OneSteel which internally were known as business partnering. Roles here included accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, strategy, company secretarial, M&A and program management.

Neale is a highly-experienced business strategist and planner working with ASX listed companies working alongside McKinsey, Accenture and other Strategy firms. Neale can comprehend and execute the detail, whilst maintaining focus on overall strategy.

Neale has held senior roles in or worked with the following organisations: OneSteel, BOSFA, ANZ, Challenger, Metlife, CBA, NRMA, ORIX, Colonial First State, Macquarie Bank, CBIL (London), Armstrong Wiley and Coopers & Lybrand.
